Welcome to Dalton's Cookbook
Dalton is an absolutely wonderful little boy who has been recently diagnosed as having ALD and Addison's Disease. We in his family are extremely thankful that he was diagnosed prior to developing any symptoms. He is participating in the Johns Hopkins research project. As a result, he needs a specialized diet.
The women in Dalton's family are good cooks and quite resourceful. We have been editing family recipes to make them "Dalton-friendly".
The intent of this website is to share recipes that meet the dietary needs of children with ALD and adults with AMN while still being good enough to serve to the entire family.
We welcome sharing recipes with those in the ALD/AMN community - especially favorite family recipes that we can adapt to meet ALD/AMN dietary needs.
